Alexander McQueen S/S 2008 Fuchsia Satin Draped Halter Top

From the S/S 2008 collection of Alexander McQueen, this halter top is cut from a lustrous satin-weave fabric in a deep fuchsia. Two long self-fabric ties extend from the bodice, crossing at the front and knotting at the nape of the neck; the trailing ends fall freely down the back in a dramatic cascade. The front is gathered at the centre chest, creating a soft draped volume across the torso. The back is open and deeply cut, with the open sides revealing a clean, unadorned edge. The silhouette is relaxed and slightly trapeze through the body, finishing at hip length with a plain hem.
