Return & Refund Policy
Trévise Paris SAS ("Trévise Paris", "we", "us") operates as a luxury archive boutique specialising in rare, one-of-a-kind vintage and collectible garments. Given the unique nature of our inventory, the following return and refund terms apply to all purchases made through our website (treviseparis.com) and in-store.
1. All Sales Are Final
Due to the rare, fragile, and irreplaceable nature of archive pieces, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or issue refunds except as required by applicable law or in the limited circumstances described below.
Each item is a unique piece that cannot be restocked or replaced. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and accept this policy.
2. Right of Withdrawal (EU & France)
In compliance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers purchasing online benefit from a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of delivery, unless a legal exception applies.
Exceptions to Withdrawal: As permitted by law (Article L221-28), the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised
- Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons and which have been unsealed after delivery
- Goods which, after delivery, are inseparably mixed with other items
Archive garments are unique, pre-owned luxury items. Any item returned must be in its original, unworn, unaltered condition with all original packaging, tags, and protective materials intact. Items showing any sign of wear, alteration, odour, stains, makeup, perfume, pet hair, or damage will be refused and returned to the buyer at their expense.
3. Withdrawal Procedure
If eligible, you must notify Trévise Paris of your withdrawal in writing (email to contact@treviseparis.com) within 14 calendar days of delivery. You must then return the item within 14 days of notification at your own expense via insured, tracked courier. Trévise Paris reserves the right to inspect the item before processing any refund.
4. Refunds
If a withdrawal is accepted after inspection, we will issue a refund of the item price (excluding original shipping costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned item. Refunds are processed via the original payment method. We reserve the right to deduct any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the item.
5. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is significantly not as described or damaged during transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at contact@treviseparis.com with photographs. We will assess the situation and, at our sole discretion, offer a resolution which may include repair, partial refund, or full refund. Claims made after 48 hours may not be honoured.
6. In-Store Purchases
Items purchased in-store at our boutique (9 Rue Oberkampf, 75011 Paris) are final sale with no right of withdrawal, as the 14-day withdrawal right applies only to distance purchases.
