From the S/S 2007 collection of Versace, this mini dress is structured around a sequinned bustier bodice worked in silver and black paillettes arranged in curved, panelled sections that follow the contour of the cups, creating a pronounced underwired silhouette. Thin spaghetti straps, covered in matching sequins, cross at the front into a halter-style V-configuration and run straight over the shoulders to the back, where they sit wide apart. The bodice transitions cleanly into a plain black skirt cut in a close, body-conscious line that falls to just above the knee. The back of the bodice features a straight, sequinned band across the upper back, with the plain skirt continuing smoothly below. A concealed zip is visible at the centre back.
