Blumarine Early 2000s Pistachio Green Floral-Embellished Knit And Satin Three-Piece Ensemble

From the early 2000s collection of Blumarine, this three-piece ensemble comprises an open-front fine-knit cardigan, a coordinating sleeveless knit top, and a fluid satin skirt, all in a uniform pistachio green. The cardigan features a collarless round neckline and long set-in sleeves with ribbed cuffs, its front opening edged with a continuous garland of small pink floral embellishments that extend along the hem. The same floral trim borders the neckline of the sleeveless top and repeats at its waistband, unifying the two knit pieces. The skirt is cut on the bias in a lustrous satin, falling to just above the knee with an asymmetric cascade of ruffled godets at the hem that lend movement and a softly feminine silhouette. The reverse of the cardigan is clean and unadorned, allowing the contrast between the matte knit and the liquid satin of the skirt to read clearly.
