From the S/S 2004 collection of Blumarine, this fitted cardigan is worked in a mint ground fabric printed with scattered pink rosebuds and open roses rendered in deep pink and ochre. The garment is constructed in two distinct panels: a stretch knit outer layer forming the body and long sleeves, and a semi-sheer woven front panel in ivory carrying the same rose print, the two materials meeting at a contrast seam trimmed with fine cream lace. The deep V-neckline is finished with the same narrow lace trim, which continues along the full centre-front placket. Closure is by a column of small decorative buttons — appearing silver-toned with a filigree detail — running from neckline to hem. The silhouette is body-conscious with a cropped, hip-grazing length. Sleeves are long and fitted, ending at the wrist without a cuff. The hem is left with a clean, unadorned edge.
Size XS (IT38/FR34) — Italian size 38 corresponds to an XS/EU 34. The body-conscious cut may wear smaller than the label suggests.
