From the S/S 2000 collection of Blumarine, this midi dress is constructed in black floral lace throughout, worn over a contrasting nude lace underlayer that extends fractionally below the hem, its scalloped edge left exposed for a deliberate lingerie-informed finish. The silhouette is slim and column-like, cut on the bias with minimal ease. A deep V-neckline at the front is mirrored at the back by an equally pronounced V that resolves into a keyhole opening secured with a self-fabric tie, lending a quietly dramatic décolleté to the reverse.
