From the S/S 1992 collection of Anna Molinari Blumarine, this two-piece ensemble comprises a strapless boned bustier and a pair of tapered trousers, both executed in white cotton printed with a painterly all-over botanical motif — roses, peonies, cornflowers and smaller tropical blooms in pink, yellow, orange, violet and green. The bustier features a sweetheart neckline, visible vertical boning channels, and a centre-front button placket with pearl-effect buttons; the bodice is cut in a plain white panel above a printed section and terminates at the waist in a structured, flounced peplum. A long sash tie at the waist bridges the two pieces and finishes the silhouette. The trousers sit at the high waist, are cut with a straight-to-tapered leg, and close at the centre front; the botanical print is scattered across the leg and concentrated into a deep border at the hem.
