From the F/W 2002 collection of Roberto Cavalli, this bias-cut slip dress is constructed in a fluid, lightweight fabric printed with an expansive paisley motif in tones of coral, rose, sage green, gold and white against a deep black ground. The print transitions from a more graphic, brushstroke-textured field at the bodice to a dense, ornate paisley border concentrated towards the hem, lending the piece a sense of visual momentum. Fine spaghetti straps support a straight-cut neckline at the front, while the back presents a softly cowled drape.
