From the S/S 2000 collection of John Galliano, this bias-cut midi skirt is rendered in a deep chocolate brown silk. The cut follows the body through the hip before releasing into a gentle flare towards the hem, with the characteristic movement and drape of true bias construction. A wide waistband sits at a natural-to-low rise. A column of self-covered buttons runs along the right side seam from waistband to approximately mid-thigh, serving as both a decorative and functional closure element.
