From the S/S 1992 collection of Comme Des Garçons, this sleeveless dress is constructed in a smooth black fabric and distinguished by its deliberately unfinished, raw-edge hem and neckline, each bordered with gestural hand-painted white marks that lend a deconstructed, painterly quality. The silhouette is column-like through the body, with a rounded scoop neckline at the front and a corresponding scoop at the back, both framed by the same painted raw edging that runs continuously along the wide tank-style straps. The hemline is sharply asymmetric, dropping considerably lower on one side — a signature structural gesture — with the raw, frayed edge and white paint treatment carried through in an unbroken line around the entire perimeter. No visible closures; the garment is to be pulled on over the head.

Size S (IT40/FR36) — Comme Des Garçons sizing from this era tends to run loose; the column cut with no closures suggests a relaxed, draped fit.
