From the F/W 1996 collection of Comme des Garçons, this apron dress is constructed in a sheer navy fabric printed with a dense, swirling rose motif. The silhouette is sleeveless, cut with wide, square-ended shoulder straps and a rounded scoop neckline at the front. The back is open and deeply cut, with a single strap running down the spine. The body falls in a voluminous, gathered balloon form that is cinched and draped at the side by a drawstring or tie detail finished with a contrasting rust and ivory floral-printed fabric — the same lining fabric visible at the back opening. This contrast fabric continue as a lining along the interior of the back panel. The hem is irregular, rising at one side and dropping lower at the opposite, with the balloon skirt gathering into a tucked, rounded hem at the base. 

Size S (IT40/FR36) — Cut with significant volume; the balloon silhouette is intentional to the design.
