From the S/S 2003 collection of Yves Saint Laurent by Tom Ford, this safari jacket is executed in cream suede and cut to a fitted, waisted silhouette. The stand collar is finished with a raw, slightly rolled edge, lending an informal softness to the structured shoulder line. The front fastens via a concealed placket with dark horn-effect buttons visible at the collar. Twin chest patch pockets with flap-and-button closures sit above two larger bellows hip pockets, each secured by a tab-and-button fastening — a four-pocket utility arrangement characteristic of the safari idiom. Additional tab-and-button straps accent the waist on either side. The long sleeves terminate at buttoned cuffs adorned with a column of four dark buttons. A centre-back seam and horizontal waist seam structure the rear panel, which flares gently from the waist into a peplum-like hem. The unlined interior reveals a woven facing at the chest.
Size L (IT44/FR40) — Cut close to the body; those between sizes may prefer to size up.
