Alexander McQueen F/W 2002 Black Leather-Trimmed Buckled Pencil Skirt

From the F/W 2002 collection of Alexander McQueen, this pencil skirt employs a mixed-material construction pairing a dark woven body with a broad leather waistband that extends into shaped hip panels, tracing a curved seam down each side to the hem. On each lateral seam, a vertical leather strap terminates in a buckle with a visible prong, adding an equestrian-inflected hardware detail at hip level. A concealed zip fastens at the centre back, and a narrow inverted-pleat vent opens at the back hem. The skirt falls to a midi length. The garment is fully lined.
