From the S/S 2001 collection of Vivienne Westwood, this midi skirt is constructed from a pink chevron-ground fabric printed with an exuberant all-over design combining botanical floral clusters in pale blue, yellow and olive green with sweeping white feather motifs. The skirt is cut in a gored, panelled A-line silhouette that flares gently from a fitted waistband to a softly fluted hem. Curved seam panelling articulates the skirt across the front and sides, directing the print into dynamic diagonal arrangements. The structured waistband fastens at the right hip with two gold-tone buttons, with a concealed zip closure visible at the centre-back waist. The hem falls to midi length. The interior is lined in a coordinating printed fabric.
