Roberto Cavalli S/S 2007 Amber & Black Tiger-Print Flutter-Sleeve Mini Dress

From the S/S 2007 collection of Roberto Cavalli, this mini dress is constructed in a bold amber and black tiger-stripe print that radiates in chevron formation from the centre front, creating a strong optical illusion of depth and movement. The deep V-neckline is matched by an equally plunging V at the back, both edges finished with a fine ruched gathering that draws the fabric taut across the bust. Short flutter sleeves are cut from a lighter, more fluid layer of the same printed fabric, falling in loose cascading tiers from the shoulder. The body is close-fitted through the torso before releasing into a slightly flared A-line skirt that ends at the upper thigh. A small script signature appears printed onto the lower left skirt panel. The hem is cleanly finished with no visible topstitching.
