Prototype muslin dress from Maison Martin Margiela, Spring/Summer 2003 — a runway sample that can also be worn as a skirt. Constructed in lightweight black muslin with raw edges and an asymmetric gathered drape layered over a blush silk underlining. From the original atelier prototypes of the collection, which explored deconstruction, modularity, and the poetic imperfection of process garments.
