Dolce & Gabbana S/S 2003 Black Lace-Trim Corset-Boned Lace-Up Back Mini Dress

From the S/S 2003 collection of Dolce & Gabbana, this structured mini dress employs a pronounced corset-boned bodice worked in multiple vertical seams that taper sharply at the waist before releasing into a flared, panelled skirt with an asymmetric handkerchief hem. The straight square neckline is edged with a narrow band of black lace. Thin, adjustable spaghetti straps carry over the shoulders. The back closure is a full-length lace-up system set with twin rows of metal grommets through which a flat black cord is threaded and tied; side seams carry additional tie cords visible at the left hip, functioning as cinch-adjusters. The skirt panels fall from the hip in a softly flared silhouette.
