From the S/S 2005 collection of Dolce & Gabbana, this midi skirt is cut in a semi-sheer, lightweight woven fabric carrying an all-over tonal leopard print in ochre, caramel, and dark brown. The skirt sits at the natural waist, finished with a narrow contrasting black waistband. The body is cut on the bias, falling in fluid, gently flared panels that resolve into an asymmetric handkerchief hem with multiple ruffled, rolled edges of differing lengths. A vertical ruffle cascade runs from mid-hip to the hem on the front-right panel, adding further volume and movement. The overall silhouette is A-line with a distinctly romantic, deconstructed finish at the base.
