6/6Dolce & Gabbana S/S 2006 Ivory Rose-Print Bustier Peplum Corset Top
From the S/S 2006 collection of Dolce & Gabbana, this corset top is constructed in a lustrous ivory ground fabric printed with a large-scale watercolour rose motif in deep pink, blush, and sage green. The sweetheart neckline is shaped by internal boning and reinforced with radiating topstitched seam panels that fan outward from the centre front, defining the bust. Narrow spaghetti straps, printed to match, support the bodice. At the waist, a horizontal seam separates the boned upper section from a short, softly flared peplum, which carries a denser and more saturated placement of the rose print. The garment fastens at the centre back with a concealed zip. The interior is fully lined in a plain champagne-toned fabric, with grosgrain boning channels visible at the waist.
