From the F/W 2000 collection of Dolce & Gabbana, this halterneck midi dress is cut in a smooth camel fabric that skims the body in a close column silhouette. The bodice drapes softly at the front, gathering into relaxed folds that ease through the waist and hips before falling to a neat, straight hem at mid-calf. At the neckline, a length of semi-sheer fabric printed with an all-over leopard motif in tones of brown and black is tied into a loose knot at the throat; the trailing ends fall freely down the front and over one shoulder, functioning as an integrated scarf detail. The back is open and low-cut, with the scarf tie forming the sole fastening at the neck. Ruching is visible along one side seam, drawing the fabric inward to define the waist. The dress is sleeveless throughout.
