6/6Dolce & Gabbana F/W 1999 Leopard Print Boned Corset And Straight-Leg Trousers Ensemble
From the F/W 1999 collection of Dolce & Gabbana, this two-piece ensemble comprises a boned corset top and a pair of straight-leg trousers, both executed in a bold ocelot-style print rendered in ivory, amber, chestnut and near-black on a lustrous ground. The corset features a square neckline, adjustable spaghetti straps, and pronounced vertical boning channels across the front panel that structure the torso with precision. A concealed zip fastening runs the full length of the centre back. The trousers sit at a low-to-mid rise, cut in a slim, straight line through the leg and finishing with a narrow hem slit at each ankle. The waistband is fitted and carries a small buckled belt tab at the front centre. The print is consistent across both pieces, with the directional markings deliberately mismatched at the seams to animate the silhouette. The fabric has a pronounced satin lustre throughout.
