9/9Christian Dior by John Galliano F/W 2006 Khaki Distressed Leather Croc-Embossed Mini Skirt
From the F/W 2006 collection of Christian Dior by John Galliano, this leather mini skirt is constructed from a heavily distressed, craquelé-finish leather in a mottled khaki and dark charcoal ground, contrasted throughout with panels and trims in a mauve-toned crocodile-embossed leather. The fitted silhouette sits at the high hip, with a wide waistband entirely faced in the embossed leather and fastened by a double snap closure bearing engraved CD monogram hardware. A central front panel of embossed leather runs vertically from waistband to hem, flanked by the distressed body panels on each side. The skirt features multiple silver-tone zip-pull pockets: two horizontal zip pockets to the rear, at least one further zip pocket to the side, and a buttoned patch detail with embossed leather trim at the rear hip, all finished with branded Dior-engraved zip pullers. Belt loops in the distressed leather are threaded through the waistband. The hem is straight and stitched flat.
