From the S/S 2005 collection of Chanel, this camisole top is constructed in two distinct registers. The upper portion features tiered horizontal bands of ivory guipure and needle lace in varying patterns — floral, scrollwork, and scalloped picot edging — culminating in a deep V-neckline trimmed with a scalloped lace border. Thin black adjustable straps extend from the lace bodice. The lower section transitions into a black-and-white horizontal breton stripe knit, terminating in a ribbed black hem band that provides structure and a clean finish. The back mirrors the front, with the lace panels continuing across and the straps set wide at the shoulders.
