Velvet maxi skirt Chanel from the Fall/Winter 1996 collection. Crafted in luxurious black viscose-rayon velvet with silk lining. Features signature rope-bordered CC buttons in gold-tone metal down the side seam opening, creating an elegant asymmetric closure detail. High-waisted silhouette with pleated waistband and invisible side zipper closure. Fully lined in black silk. The composition label indicates 100% viscose rayon outer, 100% silk lining. This piece was featured in Lagerfeld's F/W 1996 runway show, embodying the collection's refined evening aesthetic.

Good vintage condition. The velvet has a few mark on the back but maintins overally its rich texture and the gold-tone buttons show no signs of wear.
