From the 2000s archive of D&G, this mini skirt is constructed with a purple underlayer overlaid entirely in black floral Chantilly-style lace, the pattern working in large repeating medallion motifs across the body. The waist is finished with a black velvet band from which a narrow velvet tie belt extends, fastening at the side with a small bow. A frill of the same black lace erupts above the velvet waistband, forming a decorative ruffle at the top edge. The hem is left uncut, its scalloped lace border providing the sole finish. The silhouette is gently A-line, slightly fuller at the back.
Size S (IT40/FR36) — Italian size 40 per label. Best fits a contemporary S / EU 36.
