Versace S/S 2005 Peach Pointelle-Knit Lace-Panel Halter Top
From the S/S 2005 collection of Versace, this halter top pairs a ribbed pointelle-knit body in peach with broad vertical panels of grey-blue floral lace set at the sides and back. The front presents a deep V-neckline with the knit straps converging into a single halter tie at the nape, leaving the back entirely open and exposing the reverse of the lace panels. The body-conscious silhouette tapers through the waist and flares slightly at the hem. Panel edges are finished with a narrow overlock stitch that is deliberately left exposed, lending an intimate, lingerie-inflected quality to the construction. The hem is finished with a fine rib band. No visible closures.
