Valentino S/S 2008 Gold Lurex Tweed Square-Neck Bow-Embellished Mini Dress
From the S/S 2008 collection of Valentino, this sleeveless mini dress is constructed in a textured lurex-threaded boucle weave that reads as warm gold throughout. The bodice is cut with a squared neckline and fitted with wide, flat straps that mirror the main fabric. A smocked or closely elasticated band defines the upper bodice, lending structure beneath the bust. At the empire waistline, a smooth satin-finish ribbon trim encircles the dress and anchors a sculptural knotted bow ornament at the centre front — its gathered, folded construction giving it a dimensional, almost floral quality. The skirt falls in a gently flared A-line silhouette to mini length. The back closes with a concealed zip set into the centre seam.
Size M (IT42/FR38) — Cut with a fitted bodice and smocked upper panel; the elasticated band at the bust offers some flexibility.
