This Valentino cardigan from the 2000s is worked in a fine intarsia knit, carrying an all-over snakeskin-print motif in beige, taupe and dark brown across the body and long set-in sleeves. The collar is trimmed with a rich brown fur, deep and lustrous in texture, framing a V-shaped opening that leads to a single-breasted centre-front placket fastened with a column of dark horn-effect buttons. The fitted silhouette is shaped through the waist and closes at the hem with a narrow ribbed border; the same ribbed finish frames the sleeve cuffs, which are additionally detailed with a short run of matching buttons at the outer wrist.
