Roberto Cavalli S/S 2001 Teal And Lime Optical Illusion Print Straight-Leg Denim Jeans
From the S/S 2001 collection of Roberto Cavalli, these straight-leg jeans are constructed in a structured denim ground overlaid with an all-over photographic optical-illusion print in shifting tones of teal, lime and ivory. The print, which evokes swirling topographic contours and peacock-feather motifs, is applied across the full length of both legs, intensifying in saturation toward the lower leg while the waistband and belt loops retain an unprinted ecru ground. The five-pocket construction follows a classic jean configuration — two curved front slash pockets with printed facings, a small coin pocket, and two patch pockets to the rear — all finished with gold-toned rivet hardware. A single button fastening sits at the centre front with a concealed zip fly. The surface of the fabric carries a textured grid embossing across sections of the print, lending an additional dimension to the pattern. The leg is cut straight from hip to hem with a modest flare at the opening.
