Roberto Cavalli F/W 1999 Pink & Yellow Rose-Print Long-Sleeve Top
From the F/W 1999 collection of Roberto Cavalli, this fitted long-sleeve top is constructed in a fine stretch knit printed with an oversized macro-rose photographic motif rendered in vivid fuchsia, amber yellow and coral across the entire surface, each panel offering a distinct section of the bloom so that front, back and sleeves together compose a continuous panoramic image. The neckline is a deep scoop, edged with a narrow self-fabric binding in fuchsia, and at the centre-front a self-fabric tie in the same fuchsia descends from the neckline to the hem, terminating in a pair of small gold-tone metal beads. A concealed zip closure runs the length of the centre-front placket beneath this tie, finished with a gold-tone pull at its base. The sleeves are long and close-fitting, with plain hem edges. The silhouette is body-conscious throughout, cut to follow the torso with a gentle contoured waist.
