From the S/S 2007 collection of Prada, this leather mini skirt is constructed with a smooth, panelled waistband that transitions into four descending tiers of densely cut, narrow fringe strips. The fringe is worked entirely in the same tan leather as the body, each tier slightly longer than the one above, creating a cascading, fluid silhouette. The waistband is structured and sits at the natural hip, finished with visible seaming across the front and back panels. A concealed zip fastening runs along the centre back. The skirt is fully lined in a tonal fabric. The overall effect is precise and graphic despite the inherent movement of the fringe.
