Prada F/W 1997 Rose Satin Slip Dress With Silver Bugle-Bead Trim And Tie Belt

From the F/W 1997 collection of Prada, this slip dress is cut in a lustrous, duchesse-weight rose satin with a bias-influenced skirt that falls to knee-midi length with a gently fluted hem. The deep V-neckline is edged with a continuous line of silver bugle beads that continues as a central vertical seam detail down the front bodice, articulating the décolletage with quiet precision. The sleeveless bodice is structured by curved princess-style seaming and a broad horizontal waist band that defines the silhouette before releasing into the skirt. A slender self-fabric twisted-cord belt threads through loops at the waistband and ties at the front centre. The back presents a matching deep V-scoop with a narrow teardrop keyhole opening at the nape, its edges trimmed with the same silver bugle beads visible on the front.
