From the F/W 2009 collection of Prada, this sleeveless midi dress is cut in a high-lustre satin with a pronounced deep-V neckline framed by broad, folded lapel-like panels that extend across the upper chest. Cap-sleeve extensions at the shoulders provide a structured counterpoint to the otherwise fluid silhouette. The bodice and side seams feature sustained ruching that draws the fabric inward and creates a gathered, body-skimming line through the waist and hip. A small rectangular velvet trim is positioned at the centre-front waist, punctuating the gathered seam as a deliberate textural accent. The skirt falls to midi length with a gentle flare, remaining unlined at the lower half. The back mirrors the front's ruching along one side seam, with the centre-back left smooth and clean.
