Miu Miu F/W 2000 Red Diagonal-Stripe Double-Breasted Midi Coat
From the F/W 2000 collection of Miu Miu, this midi coat is worked in a red and white diagonal-twill woven cloth that reads as a warm red overall. The silhouette is tailored and closely fitted through the body, with sharply structured shoulders and a slender waist achieved through careful panel seaming. A wide notched lapel opens over a double-breasted front fastening secured by four bold red buttons arranged in two columns of two; a further two-button grouping decorates each sleeve cuff. Flap pockets sit at hip level. The back is cut with a single central vent at the hem. The coat is fully lined in a vivid red fabric visible at the lapel reverse and collar stand.
