From the 1990s archive of Lolita Lempicka, this slip dress is cut in a figure-skimming silhouette from a smooth, fluid brown fabric. The deep V-neckline is framed by a contrast black lace trim, over which an asymmetric panel of densely beaded black passementerie is applied, interspersed with cream guipure lace appliqués in a floral motif. Adjustable straps — each composed of a cream ground overlaid with a black dotted-lace ribbon — terminate at the shoulders in small black grosgrain bows. At the back, the straps converge to a low V with a central bow detail and are fitted with gold-tone adjuster sliders. The body tapers through the waist and hips without darts or seaming, relying on the fabric's natural drape. The hem transitions into a generous, double-layered black Chantilly-style lace flounce, which extends beyond the main body length to create a softly undulating finish.
