From the 1990s archive of La Perla, this corset top is constructed over a structured, boned foundation and finished in a dark olive-toned mesh ground. The sweetheart neckline is softly shaped, supported by fine spaghetti straps that are fabric-covered in matching olive. The exterior is entirely covered in a dense hand-applied floral embellishment: rose motifs are outlined in silver and chartreuse seed beads and bugle beads, with satin-stitch embroidered leaves worked in deep forest green thread, supplemented by scattered iridescent sequins throughout. The close-up detail confirms the intricacy of the work, with alternating transparent, silver, and yellow-green beads defining each petal contour. The silhouette is fitted and waist-defining, tapering toward a straight hem. Closure is by means of a concealed centre-back zip running the full length of the bodice.
