Hermès by Martin Margiela S/S 2001 Brown Suede Straight-Leg Trousers
From the S/S 2001 collection of Hermès by Martin Margiela, these trousers are executed in deep chocolate-brown suede and cut in a relaxed straight leg with a subtle flare at the hem. The five-pocket construction references classic denim architecture: two slanted hip pockets with silver-tone rivet detailing to the front, a small coin pocket, and two flat patch pockets to the rear. The waistband is structured and sits at a mid-to-high rise, fastening at the centre front with a single button and a zip fly visible at the side seam in profile. Topstitching in a toning thread traces the seams throughout, and a pronounced inverted-V yoke stitch runs across the rear seat — a tailoring detail visible at the back. Vertical panelling seams along the thighs reflect the constructive piecing inherent to suede cutting. The trousers are fully lined.
Size L (IT44/FR40) — Cut in suede with minimal stretch; sizing runs true to a French 42 / IT 46.
