8/8Gucci S/S 2009 Black Python Snakeskin Cropped Bomber Jacket
From the S/S 2009 collection of Gucci, this cropped bomber jacket is constructed in a high-gloss python skin with a black and ecru tonal colourway, the lacquered scales shifting between a deep charcoal and a pale gold-beige at the interstices. The silhouette is bomber in proportion: a broad, structured shoulder line tapering to a wide ribbed-knit hem band, matching ribbed cuffs, and a tall ribbed-knit stand collar. The centre-front closure runs as a single-breasted button placket fastened with large engraved Gucci logo buttons in a dark horn-effect resin. Two angled breast pockets with gold-tone zip fastenings sit on the upper chest, and two further patch pockets with button-fastened flaps are positioned at the lower front. The rear panel is cut in a single broad section of python, with a horizontal back yoke detail at the waist carrying two gold-tone hardware tab fastenings. Set-in sleeves in the same python skin run to ribbed-knit cuffs. All visible hardware is gold-tone.
