From the S/S 2003 collection of Gucci by Tom Ford, this sleeveless top is constructed in a fluid ivory fabric that drapes with considerable ease. The front presents a deep V-neckline gathered at the apex by a pair of narrow self-fabric ties that fasten through a small ring fitting, forming a delicate keyhole opening. Diagonal panelling lines traverse the body from below the bust to the hip, creating a structured corset-like framework against the otherwise unrestrained drape. The straps are broad and heavily ruched along their outer edges, producing a voluminous, sculptural relief that contrasts with the smooth body fabric. The reverse features a low, open scoop back — also bounded by the ruched strap detail — with the fabric falling in a relaxed cowl. The hem is cut on the bias, producing a softly curved, uneven finish.
