From the S/S 1999 collection of Gucci by Tom Ford, this midi skirt is printed across its entirety with an oversized botanical composition — bold tropical flowers in pink, burgundy, blush and yellow, interspersed with broad-leafed foliage and small bee motifs — set against a teal ground. The waistband is finished in a contrasting coral-pink fabric, gathered to create a softly ruched effect and stitched at its inner seam with a coral overlock. The skirt falls in an A-line silhouette to just below the knee, where it meets a double-tiered ruffle hem in the same printed fabric. The print signature is visible on the face of the skirt. No visible fastening hardware; the elasticated waistband allows slip-on wear.
Size XS (IT38/FR34) — Italian size 38; fits best as an M because of the 42cm waist.
