Gucci by Tom Ford F/W 2003 Mauve Ruched Keyhole Midi Dress

From the F/W 2003 collection of Gucci by Tom Ford, this body-conscious midi dress is cut in a fluid, lustrous jersey in a muted mauve. The front bodice features a deep V-neckline terminating in a tear-drop keyhole opening, secured at its apex by a small silver-toned ring hardware detail, with radiating ruching gathered from that central point across the entire bust panel. The silhouette is close-fitting throughout the torso and hip, relying entirely on the stretch of the fabric rather than any visible boning or panelling. The reverse presents a correspondingly deep V-back, cleanly cut with wide shoulder straps that frame the décolletage front and back. The hem falls to approximately midi length with a plain, self-finished edge. There are no external closures.
