Gucci by Frida Giannini F/W 2008 Black Grooved Mink Fur Jacket With Voluminous Fox Fur Collar And Leather Belt
From the F/W 2008 collection of Gucci by Frida Giannini, this cropped jacket is worked in deep black fur with a pronounced vertical grooved texture running the full length of the body and sleeves. The silhouette is slightly A-line from the shoulder, falling to a curved hem with a gathered, ribbed border. The collar is an oversized, voluminous piece in longer-pile fur, deeply folded and worn open, framing the décolletage with considerable drama. The front fastens at a single point with a domed gold-tone button bearing an engraved heraldic motif — a distinctive decorative hardware detail. The sleeves are set-in and taper to a gathered cuff that mirrors the hem treatment. A wide belt in smooth black leather threads through the waist and ties in a flat bow at the front, cinching the otherwise relaxed body.
