From the S/S 2002 collection of Gianni Versace, this floor-length gown is cut in a column silhouette that skims the body from shoulder to hem. The front presents a clean, minimal profile: a high, jewel-adjacent round neckline and sleeveless construction with a straight, structured shoulder line. The reverse is the dramatic counterpoint — a deep plunging open back, its two panels drawn together by a latticed lace-up closure of fine crossing cords that run from the upper back almost to the waist, leaving the skin exposed in a V-shaped expanse below. The skirt falls in a close, fluid column before releasing into a slight flare at the hem, which curves gently upward at the sides. The surface throughout is smooth and matte.
