From the S/S 1995 collection of Gianni Versace, this sleeveless midi dress is executed in a body-conscious, stretch jersey cut to follow the figure closely from shoulder to knee. The black ground is covered with an allover rose print rendered in a distinctive pixelated or cross-stitch-like graphic treatment, with blooms in pink, red, orange and yellow set against vivid green foliage and thorned stems. The front neckline is a wide, shallow scoop; the back neckline is cut to a deeper V-point. Shoulder straps are broad and structured. The silhouette is fitted throughout, tapering at the waist and curving over the hips to a straight hem at approximately midi length. All visible edges appear cleanly finished.
