From the S/S 2005 collection of Emanuel Ungaro, this sleeveless top is constructed in a semi-sheer stretch jersey, densely ruched across the body from bust to hem to create strong vertical gather lines that contour the torso. The neckline is asymmetric: a diagonal one-shoulder drape on the left is counterbalanced by a wide halter strap on the right that crosses to the back, forming a deep V at the front. The defining feature is a central front panel of two vertical lambskin leather boning strips, laced together with a fine leather cord threaded through multiple eyelets to produce a corset-style fastening; the cord terminates in a long hanging tail below the hemline. The back is semi-sheer and similarly ruched, with the halter strap anchoring at the upper back and a small adjustable toggle visible at the centre-back waist. The hem is asymmetric, cut on a diagonal consistent with the one-shoulder silhouette.
