Emanuel Ungaro S/S 2004 Peach Floral & Paisley Print Beaded Lace-Panel Wrap Blouse

From the S/S 2004 collection of Emanuel Ungaro, this blouse is constructed in a mixed-print approach that sets a peach ground printed with oversized floral and trailing botanical motifs against long sleeves rendered in a tonal purple and mauve paisley print. The body is cut on a deep-V surplice wrap, with the overlapping front panels falling into soft, gathered drape at the centre front. A pointed shirt collar frames the neckline. The waist is defined by a self-fabric wrap tie that fastens at the back, lending a fitted silhouette at the midriff. Each sleeve is interrupted mid-shaft by an inset panel of black hexagonal net ground embellished with hand-applied beadwork: green seed beads, iridescent crystal beads and orange silk-thread embroidery form a botanical motif, with a scalloped bead border edging the panel above and below. The sleeves extend into a dramatically elongated, fluted point at the hem. The back is seamed vertically at centre and carries the same large-scale floral print as the front body.

Size M (IT42/FR38) — Cut on a wrap silhouette with a self-tie waist; the fit at the bust and midriff is adjustable within a small range.
