Christian Lacroix S/S 1999 Grey Floral-Print Draped Silk Maxi Dress
From the S/S 1999 collection of Christian Lacroix, this silk maxi dress is printed with an impressionistic floral motif in cerise, coral, blush and ochre on a pale grey ground. The bodice is structured with a straight, slightly scooped neckline and fine spaghetti straps; a horizontal seam at the natural waist delineates the bodice from the skirt. The skirt falls to full length in a close column silhouette, gathered and draped at the hip on the left side, where the surplus fabric is tied into a loose knot, creating gathered volume before the line straightens toward the hem. A concealed zip runs along the back seam. The reverse presents a clean, unadorned column profile with the knotted drape carried to the lower back.
Size XS (IT38/FR34) — Corresponds to a French size 38 per label; fits closest to a contemporary XS/EU 34.
