Christian Dior S/S 2005 Beige Oblique Monogram Lace-Trim Slip Dress
From the S/S 2005 collection of Christian Dior, this slip dress is constructed in a fine mesh ground printed overall with the house's Oblique monogram motif in caramel and ivory, lending the fabric a semi-sheer quality. The silhouette is body-skimming and cut to midi length, with a V-neckline at the front and a correspondingly scooped back. Both the neckline and the hem are finished with a broad ivory floral lace trim of scalloped construction, which also appears at the interior neckline, visible through the sheer outer layer. Suspension is provided by two slender adjustable spaghetti straps. The dress is unlined save for a modesty lining panel at the interior bodice area visible through the translucent outer fabric.
Size M (IT42/FR38) — Pit-to-pit measurement of 38 cm (76 cm chest circumference) suggests a snug fit for a standard M/EU 38; best suited to a 34–36 inch bust.
