Christian Dior by John Galliano S/S 1999 Pale Blue Rose-Jacquard Lace-Trimmed Camisole Top
From the S/S 1999 collection of Christian Dior by John Galliano, this camisole top is constructed in a pale ice-blue ground woven with an allover tonal rose motif, producing a jacquard-like relief across the entire body. The sweetheart neckline is dressed with a wide cream lace panel that extends into a deep V at centre front, finished with a small gathered detail at the apex. Broad flat straps in the body fabric carry the same tonal rose weave and appear to be adjustable at the back via a visible hardware slider. The fitted bodice tapers to a defined waist before releasing into a gently flared hem. A deep band of cream floral lace trims the hem, its scalloped border forming the finished edge. The back neckline is framed by a straight band of the same cream lace, mirroring the front treatment.
