Alberta Ferretti 2000s Coral Floral-Print Draped Maxi Gown

From the 2000s collection of Alberta Ferretti, this gown is executed in a sheer, lightweight woven fabric printed with an all-over botanical motif — branching foliage and blossoms in olive green, ochre, and dusty rose on a coral ground. The bodice is constructed with a deep V-neckline formed by crossover draping, with gathered fabric converging at the centre front where the layers are caught and twisted to create a knot-like focal point at the natural waist. From this gathering, a cascade of ruffled fabric falls diagonally across the front skirt, adding volume and movement to one side. The sleeves are elbow-length, cut generously and left unlined so the sheer quality of the fabric is apparent throughout the upper body. The skirt falls in a long, fluid column to the floor with a raw, softly rolled hem. A contrast lining in deep red is visible at the bodice interior. The print placement is graduated, with larger motifs concentrated at the hem and sleeves.

Size M (IT42/FR38) — Cut with generous drape at the bodice; the waist gathers allow some adjustment. Best suited to a true size M.
